VEYRO, by e404 Technology · Last updated 8 October 2026

e404 Technology (“we”) makes VEYRO, a multiplayer game for phones. This policy describes the information the app and the VEYRO account service handle. You can reach us at [email protected]. Our site is e404.in.

Accounts

You can play without an account. An account is used for sign-in, a profile that can move between phones, and Play Zones (rooms other players can find online).

If you register with email, we store the address, a scrypt hash of the password (not the password itself), your callsign, whether the address is verified, and the times the account was created and last used. Verification and password-reset messages contain a 6-digit code. We store a hash of that code, and it expires after 15 minutes.

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google checks the sign-in and gives us a token. We keep Google’s account identifier and the verified email address on that token. We never receive your Google password.

If you sign in with a phone number, we store the number in international form (for example +91…). We send a 6-digit code to that number on WhatsApp. We store a hash of the code, and it expires after 15 minutes. WhatsApp, and the service that delivers the message, see the number and the text of that one message in order to send it.

A signed-in profile can also hold your callsign, equipped title, selected hero, level, XP, missions completed, wins, and an achievement count. The game copies those figures up from the phone.

Play Zones

While you are signed in and hosting a room, the account service lists it so others can join. The listing includes the room code and name, map, mode (co-op or race), the host’s network address and port, how many players are on each side, and whether the match has started. The listing is removed when the room closes, or about 30 seconds after the host stops checking in.

Voice

In a squad session the app can use the microphone and send your voice live to the host’s phone, which plays it for your squad. In a team race, only your own team hears you. We do not record squad voice and we do not keep it on our servers. The phone’s operating system asks before the microphone is used. You can turn your microphone off, silence the squad, or mute a single player. Those choices stay on your phone.

What stays on your phone

The app keeps a local copy of settings (music volume, touch layout, microphone and speaker toggles, players you have muted), progress (level, achievements, titles, records, squad), a block list, and any player reports you file. A report stores the time, the other player’s callsign, a reason, the room, and the mission. Reports stay on the device until a moderation service exists to receive them.

Deleting an online account does not erase this local copy. Resetting progress, clearing the app’s storage, or uninstalling does.

Anonymous stats and crashes

Anonymous stats are on unless you turn them off in Settings → Privacy. They use a random install id and a session id. Events cover things like a session starting or ending, a mission starting, ending, or being left, a lobby being created or joined, an achievement unlocking, a share, a replay, a squad forming, a crash, or a performance sample. An event may include the mission, map, outcome, reason, duration, player count, achievement id, rarity, frame rate, or a memory figure. It does not include your name, callsign, email, phone number, contacts, location, or voice.

Turning stats off stops collection and drops events that have not been written yet. Crash notes and these events are written into a private folder on the phone. They are not uploaded by themselves. Send diagnostics opens your system share sheet with a text file of crash notes and recent events, and you choose where it goes.

We do not sell personal information, and the game does not show third-party advertising.

Who else is involved

How long we keep it

Passwords and sign-in codes are stored as hashes. A session uses a signed token on the phone.

Children

VEYRO is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If you believe we have an account for a child under 13, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your requests

Email [email protected] to ask for a copy of your account data, a correction, or deletion. You can also delete the account yourself; the steps are on the account deletion page. If the law where you live gives you further rights, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the rules in the UK or the EEA, write to the same address.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects an existing account, we will say so in the app, or by email when we have an address for you.
