VEYRO

A mobile multiplayer game by e404 Technology

VEYRO puts you in a short, dangerous mission with your friends. What the squad does together decides whether anyone gets out. A run is built to last about eight to sixteen minutes: deploy, search, fight, and extract. The point of a session is the story you tell afterwards. You escaped with a second left. You found the room nobody else had. You finished it alone.

It is a phone game first. The left thumb moves. The right thumb looks. You jump, fire, reload, throw a grenade, and hold the jetpack to take a roof, a gap, or a way around the fight. Maps are built with height in them, so the jetpack is a route, not a button on a flat floor.

A session

Someone creates a room and shares the code. Friends join, pick heroes, and ready up. The host starts the mission. You drop in together, then the information splits. One player may have the layout. Another may have the cameras, a door, or a tunnel the rest of the squad has not seen. Voice is there so you can combine those pieces. During a squad session the microphone sends speech live to your team. It is not recorded. You can mute yourself, silence everyone, or mute one player.

The environment is part of the job. Doors, terminals, power, and more than one way through a lock. A vault might open with a card, a hack, or a route that avoids the door. Missions also throw in a controlled event: a blackout, reinforcements, a storm, a lockdown, an extraction point that moves. Then the clock turns to getting out. Hold the pad, the ship, or the submarine, and bring who you can.

You can play the mission as one squad, or race as two teams on the same map. Rooms on your Wi-Fi work without an account. Sign in with email, Google, or a WhatsApp code if you want a callsign, a profile, and Play Zones, which list open rooms other players can join.

Five operations

Operation: Blacksite (VYR-7X92). An island facility. Infiltrate, open the vault, take the Core, and get it to the helipad. The facility locks down the moment the Core leaves its pedestal. The water is deep enough to swim, and there are boats if the long way around the shore is the safer one. Optional artifacts are scattered for the squad that looks.

Operation: Frozen Signal (VYR-F51G). A dead research base is broadcasting again. Trace the signal from the radar tower, recover the drives, hold the uplink at the source under the ice, and get everyone onto the submarine. The arctic water is freezing. A whiteout can close the island while you are still looking for the data.

Operation: Neon Heist (VYR-N30N). Night in a city of rooftops, rails, and sky bridges. Helix Corp has a prototype in the tower lobby and a server core in the Data Center. Breach the core, steal the prototype, and reach the heliport before the district locks down. Data caches sit in the metro, on the market roofs, on the sky bridge, and by the canal.

Operation: Sand Tomb (VYR-D3S7). Raiders have opened a tomb under desert ruins. Reach the temple, wake the device below (the portal, or the hidden passage), take the relic from the hall, and run for the oasis vehicle. A sandstorm hits on the way out. More relics are in the library, the passage, and a sealed chamber.

Operation: Last Orbit (VYR-0RB1). A station over Avprion is about to fall. Reach the Command Hub, override the reactor, download the station core, and make the Docking Bay before the hull gives. There is no sea here. Zero-gravity chambers, transit tubes, and moving platforms replace it. One of the research prototypes is still floating in the zero-g room.

The squad

Six heroes, each a trade rather than a straight upgrade.

You shoot with the weapons you carry, starting from a rifle, a pistol, and grenades. Downed teammates can be revived. Achievements mark the unusual runs: an extraction in the last second, a mission with no alarms, a finish after everyone else is gone. Titles come from those, and you equip one on your profile.

On the phone

Controls sit in the thumbs, with room for the phone’s safe area. Last Orbit uses its own layout: sprint, crouch, and hold-to-aim, because a station in freefall is not the same walk as an island. The other maps use the classic set, jetpack included. Music plays on the menus and fades when a match starts. A minimap is always there; tap it for the full map, your facing, and your teammates. Enemies are not drawn on it.

Progress, achievements, and your squad’s record are saved on the device. An account keeps a copy of your callsign, title, hero, level, and record so it can show up on another phone. Deleting the account removes that online copy. The save on the phone stays until you reset it in Settings or uninstall the app.
